The Goal
Like many great feets in human history this endeavour started of with a drunk bet between two friends. One friend read an article about Chris Ferguson making $10.000 out of nothing on Full Tilt Poker (link). The other friend bragged about it not being that hard, (”if you’d skip the freeroll-part”). The bet was made: if “the other friend” could turn $50 into $10.000 in less then 24 months, “the friend” would pay an additional 5 dimes, if he failes he coughs up $5.000.
Now, I am “the other friend”, an 21 year old student from the heart of Europe. My goal is to turn my $50 on Full Tilt Poker into $10.000 in less then 2 years (september 2008 ’till september 2010). Why 2 years, when Chris did it in 16? Well, keep in mind I’m still a student, and a student needs to study from time to time (just like he needs to drink his beer from time to time).
So I decided to start this blog for several reasons: first of all to keep me focused on the goal, second for the undoubtfully useful feedback you all can give me and third for you all to laugh at my donkplays, bad beats and rants ’bout the other fish at the table.
So please, spread the word and contribute to my cause! ‘Cause I sure as hell don’t want to cough up 5 dimes!
